Tour program: Tirana and Berati
In the first part of the day we will explore Tirana, the capital of Albania.
In the second part of the day we will explore the historical town of Berat, UNESCO World heritage site.
- Visit at Skenderbeg’s main sqaure of Tirana.
- Introduction to the communist era through a visit at the BunkArt 2 museum.
- Lunch in traditional restaurant in Berat (optional).
- Visit at the IV century BC fortress of Berat.
- Visit at the old Christian orthodox cathedral of Assumption of Mary Mother of God.
- Visit at Onufri Byzantine Icons gallery.
- Visit at the Medieval center of Berat.
- Visit at Sultan’s Mosque and Helveti Teqqe.
- Walk through Mangalemi neighborhood.
- Return to your hotel in Tirana, in the afternoon.
