Day 1: Arrival in Tirana

Today you will arrive in Albania, through Tirana airport. Our representative will meet you at the arrivals of Tirana airport and escort you to your hotel, which is located near the center of Tirana.

• Depending on your arrival time, you might do an info meeting with your tour guide.
• Overnight in Tirana.

Day 2: Ardenica & Llogara 

After visiting the main square of Tirana, we will continue our day driving towards the South. On the way we will visit Ardenica christian orthodox monastery located on a hill overlooking the valley. The church is famous for its XVIII century frescoes and wooden carved altar.
Next we will continue towards Llogara National park where we will arrive in early afternoon, just in time for lunch and a short hike Saint Athanasios pick in the afternoon. Evening at leisure in Llogara National park.

• Visit Tirana’s Skenderbeg main square.
• Visit Ardenica Christian Orthodox Monastery.
• Check in and Lunch in accommodation in Llogara National Park.
• In the afternoon hike to Saint Athanasios peak.
• Overnight in Llogara National Park.

Day 3: Cika peak 

In the first part of the day we will hike towards Thora pass located just under Cika peak which is the highest of the Acroceraun mountain range.
After lunch we will drive Dhermi beach where we will spent the rest of the afternoon by the sea.

• After breakfast we hike to Thora pass, direction Cika peak.
• Next hike to Cika peak at 2044 m (6.706 feet).
• Drive and check in accommodation in Dhermi beach.
• Overnight in Dhermi by the sea.

Day 4: Dhermi & Qeparo

In the first part of the day we will hike towards the old village of Dhermi, where we will visit the old church with colorful frescoes dating back in the XVII century. Next we will continue towards the Monastery of Stavridi located next to the small village of Saint Ilias.
In the second part of the day we will have lunch at Panormi bay where we will visit the XIX century castle of Ali Pasha located in the small island in the middle of the bay. In the afternoon we will check in our accommodation in the village of Qeparo.

• Visit at the  christian orthodox church of Virgin Merry, XVII century.
• Visit the christian orthodox monastery of Stavridi.
• Drive through Himara region towards Panormi bay.
• Visit at Ali Pasha XIX century fortress, at Panormi (Porto Palermo) bay.
• Overnight in Qeparo

Day 5: Kudhesi & Borshi  

In the first part of the day we will hike towards the old village of Qeparo which is a rare example of local architecture. Next we will continue our hike towards the village of Kudhesi, also well know for its traditional architecture.
After lunch in the village of Borshi we will continue towards the town of Saranda by the sea where we will check in our accommodation.

• Visit the old historical center of Qeparo.
• Visit at the old village of Kudhesi.
• Visit and lunch at the springs of Borshi.
• Hike to the fortress of Sopoti, in Borshi.
• Check in the hotel in Saranda by the sea.
• Overnight in Saranda.

Day 6: Butrinti & Blue Eye

In the first part of the day we will visit Butrinti Archaeological park which is an UNESCO World heritage site. Next we will visit Blue Eye natural springs park. In the afternoon we will visit the historical town of Gjirokastra which is an other UNESCO World heritage site. in the evening we will check in your accommodation located in the historical part of Gjirokastra.

• Visit at the archaeological site of Butrinti, including: the Greek theater, the Roman, Bath and forum, the paleochristian Baptistery, the Nimfeum and the Byzantine Basilica.
• Stop in the little town of Ksamili by the sea.
• Visit at Blue Eye natural springs park.
• Visit at the XIX century old bazaar of Gjirokastra.
• Visit at the XIII century fortress of Gjirokastra.
• Overnight in Gjirokastra.

Day 7: Berat 

In the first part of the day we will explore the historical town of Berat which is an other UNESCO World heritage site.
In the afternoon we will drive toward Tirana where we will have our farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant.

• Visit at the old town of Berat located inside the walls of the IV century bc fortress.
• Visit at the old christian orthodox cathedral.
• Visit at Onufri Byzantine icon’s gallery.
• Visit at the historical neighborhood of Mangalemi in Berat.
• Visit at local winery.
• Farewell dinner in Tirana.
• Overnight in Tirana.

Day 8: Return

• After breakfast, we will transfer you to Tirana International Airport, wishing you a nice flight back home.
