Day 1: Arrival in Tirana

Our representative will meet you at Tirana International Airport and accompany you at the hotel near the center of Tirana.

• Arrival in Tirana, through TIA airport.
• Transfer to hotel near the center of Tirana.
• Overnight in Tirana

Day 2: Durresi and Berat

In the first part of the day we will visit the main square of Tirana, next we will visit the town of Durresi by the sea.

In the second part of the day we will drive towards the historical town of Berat, which is an UNESCO World heritage listed town.

• Visit Tirana Skenderbeg’s square.
• Visit the Archaeological museum of Durresi.
• Visit the Roman Amphitheater of Durresi.
• Visit the IV century BC fortress of Berat.
• Visit the Christian Orthodox cathedral of Berat.
• Visit Onufri’s Byzantine icons gallery.
• Overnight in Berat

Day 3: Himara & Saranda

In the first part of the day we will visit the Medieval center of Berat.

In the second part of the day we will drive through the Ionian Riviera, to our final destination in Saranda.

• Visit at King’s mosque in Berat.
• Visit at Helveti Tekke (mosque) in Berat.
• Drive through Llogara National park.
• Drive through Himara region, by the Ionian Riviera.
• Visit at Ali Pasha castle in Panormi (Porto Palermo) bay.
• Check in hotel in Saranda in the afternoon.
• Overnight in Saranda

Day 4: Butrinti & Gjirokastra

In the first part of the day we will explore Butrinti Archaeological park, which started as a Greek colony in the VII century BC, which is UNESCO World heritage listed site.

In the second part of the day, after a short stop in Ksamil by the sea,  we will continue towards the historical town of Gjirokastra, which is an UNESCO World Heritage listed town.

• Visit the main public are of Butrinti archaeological site, including: the Greek theater, the Roman bath, the temple of Asclepion, the Roman forum, the Byzantine basilica, ect.
• Visit at the Venetian fortress.
• Visit at the Archaeological museum of the park.
• Short stop in the small town of Ksamil by the sea.
• Visit at Blue Eye natural water springs park.
• Visit at the XIII century fortress of Gjirokastra.
• Overnight in the old town of Gjirokastra.

Day 5: Permet & Korca

Today we will drive towards the town of Korca located in the East part of Albania, near the borders with Greece and Macedonia. Our drive will take us through the valley of Vjosa river, next tot the town of Permet, the remote town of Leskovik, through Germenji national park and the town of Erseka.

• Drive through the valley of Vjosa river.
• Visit the small town of Permet.
• Drive through teh town of Leskovik and Germenji national park.
• Short visit in the town of Erseka.
• Visit in the old bazaar of Kroca.
• Overnight in the old town of Korca.

Day 6: Pogradec & Svt.Naum

After breakfast we will visit the Medieval museum of Korca, which has the best collection of Byzantine icons in the country. We will continue our tour towards North Macedonia with a visit at the small town of Pogradec located on the south shore of Ohrid lake.
After crossing the borders into Macedonia, our first visit will be at the monastery of Saint Naum located on a rock overlooking the lake and next to the black Drini natural water springs park.

• Visit at the Medieval Art Museum of Korca.
• Visit the small town of Pogtradec by the lake.
• Visit the monastery of Sveti Naum.
• Drive through the East cost of lake Ohrid.
• Overnight in the old town of Ohrid.

Day 7: Ohrid

Today, we shall explore the old town of Ohrid which is an UNESCO World heritage listed town. Our visit will start form the upper part of the town and will include (not only) the Icons Gallery, the roman amphitheater, the Plaoshnik archaeological site and more. After a scenic walk by the lake we will end our visit of the old town of Ohrid at Sveti Sophia church.

• Visit at old cathedral of Virgin Merry Perivleptusa.
• Visit at the Roman amphitheater.
• Visit at Plaoshnik archaeological site.
• Visit the mosaics at the Byzantine baptistery and basilica.
• Walk to Kaneo church on the rock and the lake side.
• Visit at the cathedral of Sveti Sophia.
• Overnight in the old town of Ohrid.

Day 8: Mavrovo & Tetovo

In the first part of the day we will drive through Mavrovo national park where we will visit the Bigorski Monastery of saint John the Baptist which is one of the best preserved and admired monasteries in North Macedonia. Next we will continue our drive through the national park towards the town of Tetova where we will visit Pasha’s Mosque, which is one of the most beautiful mosques in the Balkans. In the afternoon we will check in the hotel near the center of Skopje.

• Bigorski Monastery of saint John.
• Drive through Mavrovo Natioanl park.
• Visit at the visit Pasha’s Mosque in Tetova.
• Visit the center of Skopje in the afternoon.
• Overnight in Skopje.

Day 9: Skopje & Gracanica

In the first part of the day we will visit the old town of Skopje where the bazaar, the main christian Orthodox cathedral and the famous stone bridge are located.
In the second part of the day we will drive into Kosova, where our first visit will be at Gracanica christian Orthodox monastery which is famous for its colorful frescoes of XIV. In the afternoon we arrive in Prishtina, which is the capital of Koova.

• Visit at Mustafa Pasha mosque.
• Visit at eh old christian orthodox cathedral of Sveti Spa.
• Visit in the old bazaar of Skopje.
• Visit at Plaoshnik archaeological site.
• Visit the Stone Bridge of Skopje.
• Visit at the Monastery of Gracanica.
• Overnight in Prishtina.

Day 10: Decani & Prizren

After breakfast we will we will continue our tour North towards the Monastery of Decani which is an UNESCO World heritage site. Next we will visit the old town of Gjakova. In the afternoon we will explore the historical town of Prizren where we will check in our hotel located in the old part of the town.

• Visit at Decani monastery and church, build in XIV century.
• Visit at “carshia” (old bazaar) of Gjakova.
• Visit the old town of Prizren.
• Overnight in the old town of Prizren.

Day 11: Kruja

After breakfast we will drive into Albania, towards the historical town of Kruja.

• Visit at the XIV century of Kruja.
• Visit at Skenderbeg’s museum.
• Visit at Ethnographic museum of Kruja.
• Visit the Bektashi mosque of Dolma Teqe.
• Walk through the old bazaar of Kruja.
• Overnight in the old town of Kruja.
